Introduction

String Art Generator helps users turn uploaded photos into printable string art patterns, nail templates, guided thread paths, and related digital exports. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how to contact us.

Information We Collect

We collect information needed to provide the service:

1. Account information - name, email address, sign-in provider, and account settings.
2. Browser-local photos - photos selected in the generator are processed locally in your browser. They are not uploaded to our servers during pattern generation.
3. Generated project data - for paid projects, we store pattern parameters, nail coordinates, thread sequence, progress state, and entitlement status so you can reopen the project. The source photo is not included.
4. Usage data - feature usage, generation events, checkout events, support requests, device type, browser type, logs, and approximate diagnostic data.
5. Payment information - checkout, order, subscription, invoice, and refund status from trusted payment processors such as Creem or other configured payment providers. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
6. Support content - messages, screenshots, and attachments you submit when asking for help.

How We Use Information

We use this information to:

• Provide previews, printable nail PDFs, sequence CSVs, and other string art exports.
• Save and restore paid projects, account settings, subscription status, and credits.
• Process checkout, subscription renewal, cancellation, refund, fraud-prevention, and payment support workflows.
• Respond to support requests sent to support@aistringartgenerator.com.
• Improve product reliability, security, and abuse prevention.
• Comply with legal, tax, payment processor, and fraud-monitoring obligations.

Uploaded Photos And Generated Files

Photos selected in the generator are decoded and processed locally in your browser. During normal pattern generation, the source photo is not sent to or stored on our servers. Paid project saving stores only the generated nail and thread data needed to restore the build workflow.

Your photo leaves your browser only if you explicitly upload it as a support attachment or use another feature that clearly says it will upload the file. We do not sell uploaded photos or use them in public galleries, advertising, training datasets, or examples unless you explicitly give permission.

You are responsible for making sure you have the rights and permissions needed to upload each photo. Do not upload photos that violate privacy, copyright, trademark, publicity, or other rights.

Payment Processors

Payments may be handled by Creem or another configured payment provider. The payment provider may collect billing details, tax information, payment method details, IP address, fraud signals, and other information needed to process the transaction and comply with financial regulations.

We receive payment status, customer identifiers, product identifiers, invoice details, subscription status, and refund/cancellation events so we can grant or revoke access inside the product.

Data Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share information only when needed to operate the service:

• With payment, hosting, storage, analytics, email, authentication, and support providers.
• With legal, tax, security, or regulatory authorities when required.
• To protect users, our service, payment infrastructure, or the public from fraud, abuse, or security threats.

Data Retention

We keep account, billing, and project records as long as needed to provide the service, comply with tax/payment obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and maintain security. You may request deletion of eligible personal data by contacting support.

Some records, such as invoices, transaction logs, fraud-prevention records, and legal records, may need to be retained even after account deletion.

Security

We use access controls, encryption in transit, limited administrative access, and operational monitoring to protect information. No internet service can guarantee perfect security, but we work to reduce risk and respond to issues promptly.

Your Choices

You can:

• Update account information in your settings.
• Cancel subscriptions from the Billing page.
• Request help, deletion, access, or correction by emailing support@aistringartgenerator.com.

Children

String Art Generator is not intended for children under 13 or for users who are not old enough to consent to online services in their jurisdiction.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, when appropriate, notify users through the service.
